Our Partners
Our partners, both formal and informal, are vital to the success of our projects.
From direct partners to The Homing Project to indirect support from organizations working in parallel to support those experiencing homelessness, the only way progress happens is by working together.

Southern Arizona Land Trust (SALT)
THP does not own its sites, but rather “borrows” them. For the pilot project Esperanza Village, THP entered a long-term free lease with the Southern Arizona Land Trust (SALT), a non-profit land trust which develops housing which it then rents at below market cost. They are providing this site to THP temporarily and will eventually develop as an apartment complex. For the time being, THP has a 4-year free lease. The Esperanza Village’s infrastructure and footprint were developed in consultation with SALT so that SALT can use the infrastructure after Esperanza relocates to a larger property. Gregg Sasse, SALT’s Executive Director, has been instrumental in this process.
